Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa Oilers Football, a proud member of the IFL and powered by Community Care, lands a major piece on defense with the signing of former Green Bay Blizzard, Nijul Canada.

Canada, signed with Tulsa after spending the last two seasons with Green Bay. The former Blizzard defensive back recorded 16 games with 68.5 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, six pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 2024. Most recently, the new Oilers' DB improved his numbers in 2025, stacking up 83 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception, and seven pass breakups in 16 games played.
 
The IFL standout DB spent his college days with Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Lane College.
