Pettway, following an impressive year one with Tulsa, returns for another year, having put up 34 tackles in just three games played, proving to be a massive piece of the depth at the LB position. 

The returning Oiler played collegiately at Texas Wesleyan University, appearing in 40 career games and totaling 237 tackles (130 solo, 107 assisted). He recorded 38.5 tackles for loss for 140 yards and 11.5 sacks for 73 yards, along with two interceptions, seven pass breakups, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and one blocked kick.

In his 2022 season, Pettway appeared in 11 games and posted 71 total tackles (35 solo, 36 assisted), 10.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks, while adding two forced fumbles and two pass breakups.
