Sale, suited up for the Oilers six times during the inaugural campaign of the franchise in 2023, putting up 1,101 passing yards, going 115 for 185 (62%) on pass attempts and contributing 23 passing touchdowns. The experienced QB also ran for 59 yards and six rushing scores in his first-season effort. 

The returning quarterback, joined the Oilers last season, having come from the west where he spent time in Duke City with the Gladiators. The former Gladiator entered one game with Duke City, back on April 8, 2023 against the Oilers where he threw for 15 yards after entering late in the game. 

Prior to his pro career, the Tulsa QB played college football at Tennessee Tech, compiling 1,520 passing yards and eight touchdowns while having a 58.9% completion percentage. Sale would finish one season with the Golden Eagles and proceeded to become a walk-on transfer at Louisiana State University where he spent time as the backup for NFL star, Joe Burrow.
