Biography

Bivens, was signed originally with Tulsa prior to the May 27 matchup against the Massachusetts Pirates during the 2023 IFL season. Prior to the 6’4, 325 lbs. lineman’s arrival, the Oilers averaged 4.31 yards per play. The protecting presence of the lineman helped the Oilers improve to averaging 6.86 yards per play by the end of the 2023 inaugural season. 

The returning lineman spent his time in college most recently at Colorado State in 2022, appearing on the offensive line in all 12 games with the Rams, starting in each. Before his time with Colorado State, the second-year Oilers lineman suited up for the University of Tulsa, playing in 34 career games with 16 starts while being a regular on special teams and an honorable mention All-AAC pick in 2020, playing the two guard spots.
